Ormond by the Sea

Less than two weeks until we start our summer adventure of 2 months in Florida.
We will be staying in a house we've rented in Ormond by the Sea. It is a barrier Island much like the Outer Banks, in fact it is referred to as OBS by the locals. Unlike the Outer Banks the area has shopping and amenities. In addition Daytona Beach is about 10-15 minutes to the south and Saint Augustine about 30 minutes to the north.

Alyssa, one of our 2 beautiful and talented daughters. I'm sure she will be contributing many post to our blog! Shianne snapped this picture of Alyssa just after shooting some wonderful shots, shown below, of the sun rising at Saint Augustine Beach. We arrived at the beach at 4:30 in the morning and anxiously waited for the sun to start our day.

Our second trip to Sea World in three days. When we first visited they were having a special where the season pass was the same price as a one day pass, so of course we took advantage of it. :)
